Western Serengeti, Tanzania - October 2017

My drive from Western Serengeti to Tarangire over 9 days. The Red markers are animal spottings!

This was one of the most amazing experience - seeing 6 lionesses strategizing to kill a buffalo. They were all inching their way towards the buffaloes from a mile away. Tracked them for an hour before we had to leave the park before it closes. Do not know if the lionesses got their dinner or if the buffaloes got luck!

From the other side - Lionesses circling the buffaloes. They were trying to split the group of three buffaloes so they could kill the one that separates from the group! The buffaloes were very persistent in being a group and chasing the lionesses away or rather keeping them at a distant! Seeing this on Nat Geo or Discovery is one thing but seeing it live...words cannot come close to describing the feeling! Just amazing.

Kirawira Tented Camp on the mountain top overlooking Serengeti!

360 degree view of the inside of my tent. Does not seem like a tent from the inside! ;)
