Today I visited the other two major parts of Buenos Aires, the La Boca (birthplace of Tango) and Recoleta (known for its very famous cemetery……..and believe me its pretty amazing).
La Boca is a very colorful and vibrant part of Buenos Aires. It is extremely famous because of Tango, an amazing dance. Luckily, I had a chance to go and see a Tango show and it was spectacular.
La Recoleta Cemetery - It contains the graves of some of the most important Argentines, including Eva Perón, Raúl Alfonsín, and several presidents of Argentina.
I will have to end here for today. Had a very tiring day and tomorrow we leave at 5AM to Ushuaia, the southern most city in the world! A four hour flight from Buenos Aires. Still need to do some packing and leave the bags outside my hotel room for them to pick up and transport to the airport and then to Ushuaia…..and so here it is Day 1 in a few hours!
