I have decided to document each day and here is Day 0-1 of my trip because my trip officially does not begin until Tuesday morning. Landed in Buenos Aires on time and on schedule! Interesting city, pretty much Spain + India! Reminded me of Mumbai! Visited the a couple of major parts of Buenos Aires - Plaza De Mayo (political heart of Argentina, San Telmo (the first neighborhood for the wealthy, now rich in antiques).
Plaza De Mayo - The plaza has been a focal point of political life in Buenos Aires, since being the scene of the 25 May 1810 revolution that led to Argentina's independence.
San Telmo is a place if you are into antiques. There are a couple of streets that are filled with antique stalls. There is a fair every Sunday and is one of the most crowded places in Buenos Aires!
Buenos Aires is an art lovers paradise. Art is everywhere from street painters to art galleries. It is a very colorful city. There is so much to write but I am exhausted and have another long day tomorrow. Might come back to edit this post!
Floralis Generica is a metal sculpture located in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas.
Tomorrow I plan on heading to La Boca and Recoleta!
